1. General Information
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all purchases made through seanchinny.com, operated by Sean Chin Yeong Wei (“we”, “us”, “our”). By purchasing from our website, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before placing an order.
2. Products & Availability
All artworks, prints, and products listed on this website are subject to availability.
We make every effort to display images accurately, but colours may vary slightly due to screen differences or paper characteristics.
Limited edition print quantities are strictly controlled; once sold out, they will not be reproduced.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any product at any time without notice.
Renders are for illustrative purposes only; scale may vary.
3. Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in SGD, unless otherwise stated.
Prices include printing but exclude shipping fees unless noted (e.g., free shipping promotions).
We may update or adjust prices at any time without notice.
Payment is processed securely via Stripe or PayPal.
We do not store or have access to your credit card information.
Orders are confirmed only after full payment is received.
4. Orders & Fulfilment
Orders are confirmed once payment is successfully processed.
Please allow 2-4 business days for your order to be printed and prepared for shipping.
If an item becomes unavailable after purchase (e.g. oversold edition), we will issue a full refund.
5. Shipping & Delivery
We ship worldwide from Singapore. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
Estimated delivery times: 5–10 business days for Singapore, 10–20 business days for international orders.
Buyers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees in their country.
5.1 Risk of Loss & Proof of Delivery
Risk of loss passes to you once the carrier marks the package as delivered, based on the tracking information provided by the courier.
If you believe your package is missing despite a delivered status, you must notify us within 7 days so we can assist you in filing an inquiry with the courier.
We cannot guarantee replacements for packages marked delivered by the courier.
6. Damaged or Defective Items
If your print arrives damaged or defective:
Contact us at sean@seanchinny.com within 7 days of delivery
Include photos of the print, packaging, and shipping label
Upon verification, we will offer a replacement or refund at our discretion
We do not accept claims submitted after 7 days.
6A. Damage Verification & Replacement Policy
To protect the integrity of our prints and ensure fair resolution for all customers, any claim relating to damaged or defective items is subject to the following terms:
6A.1 Verification Required
Customers must provide clear photographic or video evidence of the damage, including:
The print itself (showing the entire artwork and the damaged area)
Close-up shots of the damaged portion
The original packaging
The shipping label
We may request additional photographs, videos, or information to verify the claim before approving a replacement or refund.
6A.2 Return of Damaged Prints (Limited Editions)
For limited edition prints, we may require the return of the damaged print before issuing a replacement.
Return shipping for verified claims will be covered by us.
Failure to return the damaged print when requested will void eligibility for replacement or refund.
6A.3 Edition Verification
All limited edition prints are individually numbered.
Replacements will only be issued once the original print—with its edition number visible—has been verified.
Replacement prints may be issued with the same edition number or a replacement number at our discretion.
6A.4 One Claim Per Order
Only one damage or defect claim may be submitted per order unless new, verifiable information is provided.
Repeated or inconsistent claims may be declined.
6A.5 Packaging Retention Requirement
Customers must retain all original packaging materials (including tube, rigid mailer, corner protectors, sleeves, and cardboard backing) until the claim is fully resolved.
Claims may be declined if packaging is discarded before verification.
6A.6 Carrier Investigation
In certain cases, we may file a damage or loss investigation with the shipping carrier.
Customers may be required to cooperate with the carrier’s verification process.
6A.7 Approval at Our Discretion
All damage or defect claims are subject to review and approval at our sole discretion.
We reserve the right to approve or decline any claim based on the evidence provided.
6A.8 Non-Qualifying Damage (Rolled Prints)
While we endeavor to carefully pack every print, due to the nature of fine art paper and the rolling process used for shipping, certain conditions are considered normal and do not qualify as damage or defects. These include, but are not limited to:
Natural paper curl resulting from being rolled
Minor edge or corner softening that does not affect the printed image area
Slight surface waviness that resolves after flattening or framing
Light pressure marks from protective packaging that are not visible when displayed
Minor cosmetic imperfections that do not compromise print quality or archival integrity
Claims submitted for the issues above may be declined, as these characteristics are typical of rolled fine art prints and do not constitute defects.
6A.9 Unreasonable or Excessive Claims
We reserve the right to decline claims that are determined to be excessive, inconsistent with the nature of rolled fine art prints, or unsupported by sufficient evidence. This includes claims where the reported condition does not materially impact the display quality of the artwork.
7. Returns & Refunds
All sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for change of mind, incorrect order selection, or sizing issues.
Exceptions:
Print arrives damaged (covered under Section 6)
Print is defective (covered under Section 6)
Oversold edition (covered under Section 8)
8. Order Cancellation
8.1 Customer-Initiated
Once an order is placed, it cannot be cancelled, as printing may begin immediately.
8.2 Store-Initiated
We reserve the right to cancel an order if:
A limited edition is oversold
Fraudulent activity is suspected
Shipping to your location is restricted
There was an error in pricing or product information
In such cases, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method.
9. Intellectual Property
All photographs, designs, and content on this website remain the intellectual property of Sean Chin Yeong Wei.
Purchase of a print grants ownership of the physical print only.
You may not reproduce, scan, copy, distribute in any form, or use the image for commercial purposes without written permission.
10. Limited Edition Policy
Edition sizes are fixed and will not be reprinted in the same format once sold out.
Each print is numbered (e.g., 3/30) and signed by the artist.
Certificates of authenticity are included with each limited edition print.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Our total liability for any claim arising out of your purchase shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant print.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including delays in delivery, customs issues, lost packages marked as delivered, or losses arising from incorrect address information provided by the customer.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where prohibited by Singapore law.
12. Privacy & Data
Customer information is used strictly for order fulfilment and communication.
We do not sell or share personal information with third parties, except where required for payment processing and shipping.

13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes or claims will be resolved in the courts of Singapore.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time.
The “Last Updated” date at the top reflects the latest version.
Your continued use of the website or purchase of products constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
